About Bill Stradley: Experienced, Texas Board Certified in Criminal Law.
Bill Stradley has over 20 years of experience trying criminal law cases. In 1997, he became Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and was re-certified in 2002 and 2007.
After graduating law school, Bill joined the Harris County District Attorney's Office. As an Assistant District Attorney, he prosecuted a wide variety of felonies and misdemeanors and learned the prosecution perspective. Eventually, he was asked to teach other prosecutors the art of jury trial preparation and technique.
In 1995, he started his private criminal defense practice in Houston. He defends a wide variety of state and federal criminal cases in Houston and the surrounding region. He handles serious, difficult cases throughout Texas.

Bill Stradley is a third generation Houstonian. His father, Bill Sr is Of Counsel to the Mithoff Law Firm, and is Board Certified in Personal Injury Law and Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has practiced law in Houston for over 40 years and is known for his trial ability, legal thought, service to the legal community and just being decent person.
Bill Jr was president of his high school class at Lamar High School in Houston Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 1987 with an economics degree. He completed his law degree at the South Texas College of Law in 1990, excelling in the school's nationally recognized advocacy program.
He met his wife Stephanie at the course taught to prepare for the Texas Bar Exam. They ended up studying together, both passed, and clearly make a good team.
